After a lot of planning, fundraising and training, I finally made it to the top of the mountain! It was a truly epic trip and I can’t overstate the importance of the support of all the family and friends who have helped out in so many ways.

Thanks again to everyone who has helped me reach this goal, I couldn’t have done it without you.

Photos: Top right is the whole team of amazing people who not only made the trip up Mount Kilimanjaro, but also raised a fantastic amount of money to do it. It was a truly fantastic group and I look forward to seeing them all again soon (there is already talk of a reunion).

On the left is a picture of me and my sisters in front of Mt Kilimanjaro, on the way back down the mountain at Millennium Camp. It felt great to be coming back down after such an achievement, all looking forward to showers and real beds!

On the right is a picture of the mountain from Karanga Camp, the night before our summit ascent. It had been really misty and then we came out of dinner to see this spectacular sunset on the mountain. The pain was worth it!!
