Meal - The Result

I'm sure you are all interested in what happened at our fundraising meal on Tuesday. Well, after a couple of days, the money is in and the dust has settled.

Firstly the good news: By all accounts Tuesday night was a raging success. The guests were superb, the Orchids put on a good show and Piazza Firenze, the restaurant, was excellent.

Secondly, the great news: With eighty guests, eight orchids, three auctions and a lot of raffle tickets, the evening raised over £2,100 towards our target of £20,000!

What a night!

Over 90 people, fantastic food, amazing prizes and an incredible auction.

Thank you so much to eveyone who attended and made the evening so special. We are currently totting up the figures and , thanks to your generosity, it looks like we are near the £2000 mark! woohooo.

We'll write a full article soon and include a few photos from the event. Come back later on to see how much our total has grown and have a look at the photos.
